Mary Frances Mcdaniel

Mrs. Mary Frances McDaniel, 91 of Calhoun, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home. She was born in Bartow County on March 29, 1926, daughter of the late Charlie and Maggie Murphy Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Charles McDaniel, in 1980; her daughter, Barbara Knight, in 2006; two brothers; and a sister.
During her lifetime, Mrs. McDaniel worked at Aldon Rug, and had retired from Georgia Tufters. She loved bowling, crocheting, and cross stitch.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Wanda McDaniel of Calhoun; her grandchildren, Miranda McDaniel and Angela (Sam) Bright; her great-grandchildren, Kenna and Savannah Bright; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her special friends, Charlotte Baker and Robbie Cox, also survive.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Mary Frances McDaniel will be held Friday, May 26th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Kenny Benham officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Paul Clark, Toby Holland, Jack McGaskey, Chris Johnson, Russell Johnson, and Sam Bright.
The McDaniel family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 25th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Friday morning until the service hour.
