Mary Ivadene Muse

Mrs. Mary Ivadene Muse, age 76 of Resaca, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Floyd Hospital. She was born on September 26, 1934, daughter of the late Sephus Holt and Wilda Hall Holt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Muse; and three brothers, Forrest Holt, Donald Holt, and Tommy Holt.

Mrs. Muse was a retired seamstress and cake decorator, and a loving mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pat Muse of Resaca; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and James King of Adairsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Buck and Virginia Holt of Cleveland, TN; and two sisters, Martha Ray of Plainville, and Judy Holt of Calhoun. Grandchildren surviving are Amy and Jeff Reaid of Dallas, James R. and Diane King of Cartersville, Patty and Michael Brown of Sugar Valley, Wayne and Lisa Muse of Sugar Valley, and Randy Muse of Resaca. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Briana Reaid, Donna, Dakota, and Isabella King, Amanda, Michael Jr., and Hunter Brown, Landon and Mikayla Muse, and Carri and Brennan Yates; and a great-great grandchild, Damon Yates.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ivadene Muse will be held Saturday, July 16th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
