Mary Janice "Williamson" Thompson, 81, of Calhoun, GA died Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born on September 2, 1939 in Cedartown, GA to the late Woodrow Turner Willamson and Ruby Estelle Farmer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Lee Thompson; two daughters, Connie Davis and Teresa Guice; grandson, Jamie Welchel.
She is survived by her children, Paul Smith, Gene and Judy Smith, and Susie Parker; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Rhoda Williamson; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 1:30 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3:00 PM at Chandler Cemetery, with Rev. Bobby Banks officiating. The Hellions Motorcycle Club will serve as pallbearers.
