Obituary

Mary Rose Sexton Herrero, 73, of the Plainville Community, died at her home on Friday, July 10, 2020, following several months of declining health. Mary was born in Isom, Kentucky on September 6, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Lundy and Lucille Roberts Sexton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Herrero; her son, Robert Wayne Banks; her siblings, L.D. Sexton, Billy James Sexton, H.C. Sexton, Jim Sexton, Eloise Mullins, and Louise Morgan. A Christian, Mary was of the Baptist Faith.
Mary is survived by her children, Gregory Alan Banks and Ralph William Lewis Herrero III; her sisters, Bernice Covington and Elinda Hilley; her grandchildren, Robert Kyle Banks, Brandy Sharee Banks, Sean Alexander Banks, Tiffany Nicole Banks-Avina, Christopher Allen Banks, Gergory Storm Banks, Lindsey Jordan Cunduff, Ralph Zachary Herrero, Zane Alexander Herrero, Tyler Anthony Herrero, and Hunter Neal Herrero; her great-grandchildren, Sawyer Banks, Chloe Banks, Angel Avina, Nathan Avina, Chloe Ayers, Santana Ayers, Robert Connor Banks, and Valerie Danielle Banks.
The Herrero family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A private family graveside will follow. Rev. John McGraw will officiate.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Mary Herrero.
