Mary Faye Sims

Mary Faye Sims, 56, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1967, to the late Buddy and Joanne Sims. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Scotty Sims and John Sims.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Hamrick; children, Justin (Brittney) Newport, Grandy Newport, and Heather (Tony) Gugliotta; brothers, Tommy Sims and Sid Sims; sister-in-law, Shane Wable; grandchildren, Grady Newport, Adian Newport, AJ Gugliotta, Shelby Gugliotta, Chloe Newport, and Cooper Newport; aunts, Verne (John) Cates, Bobbie Hensley, and Retha Burns. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

To honor her wishes, her body was cremated.
