Michael Anthony Galloway

Mr. Michael Anthony Galloway, age 59 of Norcross, Georgia, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Gwinnett Medical Center. He was born in Polk County, Georgia,on April 8, 1949, son of the late Max and Burtys Bridges Galloway, and was employed with Harbor Management as a Maintenance Technician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Virginia Boardwine (Cissy) Galloway; two sons, Donnie and Michael; four daughters, Susie, Angie, Deidra, and Kim; a brother, Wayne Andrews; and a sister, Barbara. Eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, aunts, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Anthony Galloway will be conducted Wednesday, October 29 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Marty Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Ricky Roland, Seth Widner, David Brown, Bobby Witchet, Donald Troung, and Andrea Thorp. They are requested to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00pm. Willie Lagos will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. When not at the funeral home, the family will be at the home of Bobby and Glenda Baggett, 283 Craig Road, Ranger, Georgia.
