Michael Cary Ouellette

Mr. Michael (Mike) Cary Ouellette, age 38 of Resaca, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on July 29, 1970, and had been a resident of Gordon County since 1981. Mike was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Catrina Watt, and grandparents, Earl and Pearl Queen, and Evelyn Ouellette.

Survivors include his loving family; parents, Charles (Hank) and Karen Watt of Calhoun, and Marvin and Debbie Ouellette of Grosse Isle, Michigan; a daughter, Cassie Ouellette; three sons, Michael (Mikey) Ouellette, Andy Ouellette, both of Resaca, and Tyler Ouellette of Florida; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindi and John Sutherland of Riverview, Michigan; grandparents, Charles and June Watt of Toledo, Ohio; and nephews, Justin Sutherland and Dalton Sutherland. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends also survive.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday, July 18 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral services for Mr. Michael (Mike) Cary Ouellette will be conducted Sunday, July 19 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Walter Hare officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Allen Baumgardner, Jeff Freeman, Austin O'Daniel, John Neal, Travis Queen, and David Fortenberry. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Sunday at 1:15pm. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Queen, Darren Queen, and Keith Hicks.
