Michael Daniel Holden

Mr. Michael Daniel Holden, age 45 of Dalton, GA, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home following several years of declining health. He was born in Gordon County on December 25, 1968, son of Ernest Holden and the late Inez McCollum Holden.

Prior to his illness, Michael had been employed with Mohawk and several other textile companies.

Survivors include a son, Patrick Holden of Dalton; father, Ernest Holden; two brothers, Larry Holden of Plainville, and Rickey Holden and his wife Gail of Resaca; and two sisters, Joann Pitts and her husband Ronny of Plainville, and Patricia Brinson of Titusville, Florida.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Daniel Holden will be held graveside at Fain Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Fred McCoy officiating. Pallbearers will include Randy Gilbert, Brian Woodring, Don Woodring, Todd Woodring, Timmie Holden, Chris Hollingsworth, and Roger Gilbert.
