Michael Eugene Battles, 62, of Calhoun died Friday, July 12, 2019. He was born on August 30, 1956, son of the late Leon E. Battles and Colene Herrington Battles.
He is survived by his daughter, Karly Vance; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Jimmy Roden and Sherry and Mark Gobbell; stepmother, Mary Battles; an aunt, France Pankey (Eldridge); and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 14th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Cochran will officiate. Burial will follow at Lathenville Baptist Church Cemetery, 17389 Al Highway 168 Crossville, AL 35962. Pallbearers serving are Arnold Gilman, Justin Goforth, Ritchie Pierce, Jimmy Fox, Troy Dutton, and Andy Taylor.
