Michael Harwell Kelly Sr

Mr. Michael Harwell Kelly, Sr., age 57 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Calhoun Health Care Center following several months of declining health.

He was born on June 12, 1953 in Pulaski, Tennessee, son of Geraldine Harwell Kelly and the late Joel Burton Kelly. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Alta Marie Sanders Kelly, and a brother, Tim Kelly. During his lifetime, he was employed as a manager with Fafnir Corporation.

Mr. Kelly is survived by a daughter, Yohonna Conway and her husband David of Calhoun; two sons, Mike Kelly, Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee and Chris Kelly of Calhoun; his mother, Geraldine Kelly; a sister, Pam Banta of Pulaski, Tennessee; and a brother, Pat Kelly of Pulaski. Grandchildren surviving are Chloe Conway, Taylor Kelly, Ashlyn Kelly, Anneliese Conway and Isabella Conway. Special nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Harwell Kelly, Sr. will be conducted Tuesday, January 4, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Kelly, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Mark Bramblett, Tim Woodard, Courtney Taylor, Keith Hamby, Jay Kelly, Jeremy Kelly, and Josh Deming.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday at 11:00am until the funeral hour of 1:00pm.
