Mitchell Anthony Roberson

Mr. Mitchell Anthony Roberson, 54 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Gordon Hospital following several months of declining health. He was born in Floyd County on May 4, 1960, son of the late Rena and Daisy Mae Grant Roberson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Steve Roberson and Scott Roberson.

Mitchell was a self-employed Contractor. He loved to fish and play guitar.

Survivors include two sons, Zane Roberson and Zeth Roberson; his daughter, Jessica S. Roberson, all of Calhoun; and three very special children, Cole, Ariel, and Cheyenne; three brothers, Clark Roberson and his wife Brenda of Lindale, Jamie Roberson of Calhoun, and Bruce Gentry; a sister, Sidney Wilkins and her husband John of Calhoun; his grandchild, Hayden Roberson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Mitchell Anthony Roberson will be held Friday, April 3rd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Wade Holbert and Rev. Phillip Roberson officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Terry Hopper, Gilbert Holbert, Wade Holbert, Clifton Morgan, Clif Morgan, Jr., and Anthony Jackson.

The Roberson family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM.

Services for Mr. Mitchell Anthony Roberson are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
