Molly Danielle Jones

Molly Danielle Jones, 16, of Resaca, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Whitfield County on October 4, 2001, daughter of John and Leslie Diane McDonald Jones. Molly was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Lester and Mana Cronon, and William Dallas and Exie Timms Childers.
Molly was a freshman at Gordon Central High School. She attended Philadelphia Baptist Church, and was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include her Dad, John Jones; Her Mom, Leslie Jones; her brothers and sister-in-law, Trevor and Georgia Lynn Jones, and Levi Jones; her sister, Madison Taylor Jones; Granny, Carolyn Harkins; Paw-Paw, Ray (Debbie) McDonald; Grandmother, Linda (Clay) Woody; and Grandfather, Marvin Jones.
Services to honor the life of Molly Danielle Jones will be held Wednesday, November 29th at 2:00 PM, from Philadelphia Baptist Church, with Rev. Tim McCulley, Bro. Rafael Gonzalez, and Bro. Rick Spence officiating. Music will be arranged by her siblings, and the Philadelphia Baptist Church School Choir. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include family members, close friends, and church members.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 28th, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
