Mossie Dean Couch

Mrs. Mossie Couch, age 86, of Resaca, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007. She was born in Gordon County on February 9, 1921, daughter of the late Guy and Lular Stanley Dean. Mrs. Couch was retired from the textile industry, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Dean and Robert Dean; and three sisters, Grace Smith, Decie Maness, and Dorothy Crane.

Survivors include nieces, Charlene Baldwin and June Wilson; and nephews, Donald Maness, Dan Crane, and Richard Dean.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mossie Couch will be conducted Monday, September 10, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Resaca. Great nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Couch's name to NW Georgia Christian Academy, 1301 Dews Pond Road S.E., Calhoun, GA 30701, or your favorite children's charity.
