Naomi Virginia Rushing

Mrs. Naomi Virginia Rushing, age 95 of Fairmount, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Rushing was born on November 2, 1916 in Cordova, AL, daughter of the late Ollie and Mae Marlowe.

During her employment years she was a receptionist in the electronics industry.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Charles Rushing of the home; two daughters, Betty Marie Cline of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary V. Hudson of Fairmount; a son, Thurman McGarian of Macon, GA; a sister, Earline Wascoe of Palo Alto, CA; four grandchildren, Michael Hudson, Carl Hudson, Camp Cline and Karen Cline; and four great- grandchildren, Brandon Hudson, Merica Hudson and her husband, Mitchell, Valerie Ryan and her husband Timothy, Jr.,and Mathew Triola Cline and his wife Erin.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 10:00 am from Whitfield Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:45 am.

The family requests no visitation or viewing.
