Nathaniel Rakestraw

Nathaniel Ray Rakestraw, age 5 of Adairsville died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Floyd County on March 7, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. Freeman, and Otis and Betty Ann Rakestraw.

Nathaniel attended Belwood Elementary School.

Survivors include his parents, Patricia and Ray Rakestraw of Adairsville; a sister, Raechelle Rakestraw of Adairsville; grandmother, Eloise Freeman of Adairsville; and uncles, Anthony Freeman and Jeff Rakestraw, both of Adairsville.

Graveside services for Nathaniel Ray Rakestraw will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, July 10, at East View Cemetery in Adairsville, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Active pallbearers will include Mark Wright, Jeff Rakestraw, Mitchell Caldwell, and Ray Rakestraw.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
