Mrs. Nevley Jean Erwin, 84 of Chattanooga, TN, formerly of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. She was born in Gordon County on October 19, 1932, daughter of the late Lloyd and Winnie Greeson Langston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deryll Erwin, in 2008.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Farmville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Jeanene Erwin of Soddy Daisy, TN; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Camilla Langston of Calhoun; a niece, Andrea Johnson; and a nephew, Darrin Langston.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Nevley Jean Erwin will be held Sunday, April 2nd at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving will include Darrin Langston, Bill Johnson, Calvin Tate, and Eric Tate.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM.
