Mrs. Nina Clouse Junkins, age 79 of Ranger, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Cartersville Medical Center following several months of declining health.
Mrs. Junkins was born January 18, 1928 in Sparta, TN, daughter of the late Clarence and Veda Clouse. She was a retired textile worker.
Mrs. Junkins is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sam Junkins of Ranger; six daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jim Williams of TN, Doris and James Dees of KY, Joyce and Charles Napier of KY, Deanie and Lloyd Hensley of KY, Sandy and Ed Dean of GA, and Shirley and James Dean of GA; one son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Angie Junkins of GA; two brothers, Wayne Clouse and Ed Clouse, both of TN; and two sisters, Lucy Loftos of Utah, and Martha Fitzgerald of Florida. Eighteen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Junkins will be conducted on Saturday, September 22, at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Isaac Johns officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am until 8:00pm.
