Norma Jean Ferguson

Mrs. Norma Jean Ferguson, age 62 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Gordon Hospital following several years of declining health. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 7, 1951, daughter of Christine Covan Crowder and the late Curtis Crowder.



Before becoming disabled, Mrs. Ferguson was associated with Astro Dye.



Survivors include a son, Donny McCarter of Calhoun; two daughters, Tracy Lumpkin of Calhoun, and Melissa Bates and her husband Dean of Hixon, TN; her mother, Christine Covan Crowder; her former husband and friend, Larry Alan McCarter of Ranger; two brothers, Larry Crowder and his wife Charlene of Fairmount, and Tommy Crowder and his wife Cathy of Calhoun; two sisters, Tena Berdette and her husband Rocky, and Peggy Carroll, all of Carrolton; and grandchildren, Alan Lumpkin of Calhoun, Jessica Lumpkin of LaGrange, and Autumn Emily McCarter of Dalton.



A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Norma Jean Ferguson will be held Friday, August 30th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
