Obituary
Norma Tidwell Fox, 88, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020. She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on January 3, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy M. Fox and a son Michael Vincent Fox.
Norma and Roy were very active in the operations of Gordon Memorial Gardens for many years after the loss of their son Michael. Norma retired from Calhoun First National Bank and was a long time member of Belmont Baptist Church were she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Deborah Fox, her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dwight Gentry, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister Patricia Anderson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services to honor Norma's life will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Belmont Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Sellers and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Music arranged by Treva Sellers and Janice Warnack. Committal service will follow at Gordon Memorial Gardens with Rev. Stephen Williams officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include: Faye and Max Mashburn, Ruth and Joe Powell, Norma and Boyd Highfield, Judy Mulkey, Faye Harris, Olen Holmes, Marion and Tom Whitaker and Sharon Williams.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Belmont Baptist Church.
The family would like to give special thanks to Kindred HHC, Regency Hospice and special caregiver Inez Owens for their dedicated service, encouragement and kindness, caring for our very special Mom.
