Norman Lee Hightower

Mr. Norman Lee Hightower, age 74 of Sugar Valley, GA died Monday, October 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Gordon County on December 13, 1937, son of the late Hoyt John and Parlee Gravley Hightower. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenese Smith.

Norman was an accounting graduate of Massey Business College, and had been employed as an accountant with Sears. He had owned Mableton Flower Shop in Mableton, GA, and had recently been employed part-time with Brannon Florist as a designer.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Sharon Hightower of Atlanta; two sisters, Vivian Jackson and Argle West, both of Sugar Valley; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Austin Hightower.

Funeral services for Mr. Norman Lee Hightower will be held Thursday, November 1st at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 1:00pm.
