Obituary

Mr. Norman Lee Millsap, 90, of the Ranger Community, died Sunday, August 30, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Millsap was born in Bartow County, Georgia on June 13, 1930, son of the late Clarence and Eva Mae Patterson Millsap. He lived the greater part of his life in Gordon County and was a member of Oakman Baptist Church. He loved his family and was a hard worker all his life, he enjoyed operating heavy equipment and driving large trucks and enjoyed trading.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Shelby Harrison Millsap, two daughters; Barbara (Randy) Townsend of Fairmount and, Deborah Putnam of Wewahitchka, Florida, two sons; Richard (Jackie) Millsap and, Mark Millsap and Karen Hurst all of Ranger, grandchildren; Warren Watts, Reba (Eric) Blue, Anthony (Brittany) Millsap, Daisy (Jacob) Campbell, Adam (Danielle) Sullivan, Blake (Kesha) Sullivan, Alisha (Chris) Cochran, Tyler Townsend, Linda Hurst, and Leslie Hurst, twenty-five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Norman Lee Millsap will be conducted Thursday, September 3, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Hopper Family Cemetery near Ranger. Pallbearers serving will include; Richard Millsap, Mark Millsap, Anthony Millsap, Jacob Campbell, and Eric Blue.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 concerns, Mask will be required and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Norman Lee Millsap.
