Olivia Jones

Mrs. Olivia Jones, age 86 of Sugar Valley, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Chatsworth Health Care Center following an extended illness. She was born on October 3, 1923 in Floyd County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Harbour.

Survivors are her husband, Clarence Jones; a son, Allen Cagle of Resaca; a sister, Connie Baker of Calhoun; and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Olivia Jones will be conducted Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Troy Knox and Rev. Edward Atchley officiating. Pallbearers serving include Roger Pendergrass, Marty Atkins, Ray Fortner, Jessie Atchley, Gerald Atchley, and Joshua Atchley. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Sunday at 1:15p.m. Interment will follow the service in the Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Jones to the At Peace Hospice, 216B New Town Road, Calhoun, Georgia 30701. Mr. Jones expresses his love and deepest appreciation to the At Peace Hospice for their gracious care of his wife.
