Ollie Brackett Anderson

Mrs. Ollie Brackett Anderson, age 90 of Resaca, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 following several years of declining health. She was born in Murray County, GA on September 14, 1923, daughter of the late Charlie and Lou Fox Brackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Sanford Anderson in 1967.

During her lifetime, Mrs. Anderson was employed by Dalton Chair Factory, Chitwood Rugs, and Pinion Rugs for 35 years. She had been a member of Sugar Valley Church of God for 39 years.

Survivors include a sister, Barbara Burkhalter of Calhoun; a favorite niece, Sherry Little; a favorite great-niece, Hayleigh Born; and several other nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ollie Brackett Anderson will be held Saturday, May 31st at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Dwaine Shadix officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Bobby Little, Tony Little, Jeremy Born, Andrew Ogle, Kevin Hollis, and Lonnie Walker.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
