Obituary
Opal Ralston Ingle, 90, of Calhoun died on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Gordon Health Care, following several years of declining health. Opal was born in Gordon County on May 29, 1927; she was the daughter of the late H. C. and Ethel McPherson Ralston. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, William David Ingle. Opal worked for many years at Crown Craft. She had also worked at Ralstons Corner, and at Herb Craft.
Opal is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Freddie Craig; her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Clara Ingle; her grandchildren, Tasha Harris, Ashley Brown, Connie (Nevin) Pass, and Chris (Kellie) Craig; her great-grandchildren, Shane Craig, Brooke Buffum, Dustyn Harris, Haydin Harris, Dillon Harris, Emrik Henson, Aubry Crosby, Aaron Pass, and Brice Craig; her great-great grandson, Logan Buffum; her brothers and sister-in-law, Lee Ralston, and Jay and Mary Jean Ralston; other relatives and friends.
The Ingle family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the service at Chandler Cemetery. Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
