Mrs. Pamela Evans Weaver, age 58 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Gordon County, born on May 18, 1952 to Wilma Goodnight Evans and the late Asa David Evans. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Winston Evans, Doyle Evans, and Duane Evans.
During her lifetime, Mrs. Weaver was employed by Howard Carpet Mills, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, James Wayne Weaver of the residence; a son, Bryant Lee Evans of Calhoun; her mother, Wilma Goodnight Evans of Calhoun; a step-son, Felton Owen, Jr. of Whitfield County; four step-daughters, Earline Dupree, Garline Coleman, Debra Phillips, and Virginia Rector, all of Whitfield County; a brother, Dwight Evans of Calhoun; and three sisters, Marilyn Callaway of Calhoun, Sandra Evans of Calhoun, and Shirley Hamrick of Whitfield County. Other survivors include a special grandchild, Starcha Marie Evans; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pamela Evans Weaver will be held Friday, May 6th at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Winston Hackney officiating. Interment will follow in the Cooper Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
