Pamela Irene Kennedy

July 17, 1956 — June 7, 2013

Pamela Irene Kennedy, aka "NaNa" and "GG" passed away at Gordon Hospital on June 7, 2013 due to lung cancer. She was born in Dalton, GA on July 17, 1956, however, she lived most of her life in Calhoun, GA. She worked for Mohawk, Pat's Place, and McDonald's to name a few. She was preceded in death by mother, Margie (Howard) McMichen, and father, William A. McMichen.

Survivors are Gregory Allen Kennedy (husband), Kris Ann Turner and Scott Dailey of Calhoun; Tammy Lynn Hales and Jimmy Hales of Calhoun; Jillian Williams of Calhoun; John and April McMichen of Cartersville; Greg McMichen, Tony McMichen, Lorraine and Morgan Walters, Loretta Kennedy, Lewis and Sherry Kennedy, Pat Kennedy, Jamie Kennedy, and Allison Kennedy, all of Calhoun. Grandchildren surviving are Kayla Turner, Easton Turner, Alex and Ana Hales, Marlee Hogan, Jahkeeli and Jahkamie Kennedy, Kristen McMichen, and Ian Hales; and great-grandchildren, Jayden Turner and Lakiya Clark. Other survivors include Dale and Angie Davis and Mylilita Owens, Madison and Misty McDaniel (Kennedy), Kane and Hannah McMichen, Tiara Johnson, Jessica Hawkins, Veronica, Sam, and George; and many more friends and relatives.

The family will have a private memorial on Sunday, June 9, 2013. Anyone who wants to give donations, please give to the American Cancer Society, 200 W Emery St. Ste 3, Dalton, GA 30720. The family is asking for prayers during this time.
