Patsy Silvers

Mrs. Patsy Silvers, age 59 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Gordon Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Gordon County on March 26, 1950. Mrs. Silvers was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Pass in 2008. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Sugar Valley.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Virgil Gregory Silvers; her mother, Mrs. Isabel Baker Blaylock of Calhoun; and three grandchildren, Zane Pass, Darby Pass, and Macey Pass.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Silvers will be conducted Monday, November 2nd at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Maynard Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will include Toby Pass, Zane Pass, Billy Stone, Jr., Ray Silvers, and Andy Harper. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Corvi and Curtis Silvers. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday at 11:00am.
