Patti Lynn Baker

Mrs. Patti Lynn Baker, age 60 of Calhoun, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Gordon County, born on February 25, 1955 to the late Bill and Kathryn Planzer Johnson.

Patti had been employed with the Gordon County Training Center, and was Deputy Clerk for Superior Court Clerk Lewis Couch. She was presently employed with Mohawk Commercial in Dalton as a Customer Service Supervisor, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her husband, Steven Baker, to whom she would have been married 40 years on September 27th; her son, Chuck Keener of Calhoun; brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Bill) and Ellen Johnson of Taylorsville, and Larry and Debbie Johnston of Fairmount; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and James Ross of Cohutta, and Carol and Bob Causey of Winston; and nieces and nephews, Will and Adrianne Johnson, Chad Causey, Lora Ralston, Chuck Jackson, and Brittany and Cole Johnston.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Patti Lynn Baker will be held Tuesday, September 29th at 3:00 PM from Antioch Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Hibberts and Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Music will be arranged by Anthony Cochran and the choir of Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Chuck Jackson, Scott Couch, Randy Muse, Kenneth Harkins, and Bruce Harkins. Honorary pallbearers are employees of the Customer Service Department of Mohawk (Commercial Division).

The Baker family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, September 28th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
