Obituary

Paul Raymond Pedraza, 50, of Resaca, died Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 1, 1967, son of Peter R. Pedraza and Phylis W. Manley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter and Fannie Pedraza.
Paul was owner/operator of Circle P Trucking.
He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Rita Phillips Pedraza; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rev. Kenneth and Lila Phillips of Resaca; his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Leta Gwin, and Justin and Malary Gwin; his daughters, Sharrona Slaton, Louisa Pedraza, and Brittanie Bailey; grandchildren, Darrien and Gracie Bailey, Gabriel and Porter Gwin, and Armonie Shephard; his father and step-mother, Peter and Norma Pedraza; and his sisters, Pilar Pedraza Burns and Cathy Metschulat, and their families. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and friends, who will forever keep him in their hearts.
Memorial services for Paul Raymond Pedraza will be held Saturday, January 27th at 4:00 PM, from First Apostolic Ministries of Calhoun, 712 New Town Road, Calhoun, GA 30701. Pastor Ricky Silvers will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
