Mrs. Peggy Greeson Marshall, age 79 of Adairsville, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Star Crest Health Care Center in Cartersville. Mrs. Marshall was born on November 23, 1930 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Logan Herschel Greeson and Florence Edith Mitchell Greeson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Horace Carl (H.C.) Marshall and by a brother, Gene Greeson. During her lifetime she was employed by Color Masters, Inc. of Calhoun, and her interests were travel and reading. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by two daughters; Teresa Bailey-Welch and her husband Joe of Calhoun, Patricia Fernandez and her husband Steve of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tonia Frisbee, Catherine Highfield, Eric Bailey and Logan Jose Fernandez and great grandchildren Joshua Frisbee, Jacob Frisbee, Emory Bailey and Lucian Fernandez.
Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Greeson Marshall will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Thomas officiating. Pallbearers serving will be Eric Bailey, Jacob Frisbee, Steve Fernandez, Ronald Stephens, Jeff Jacobsen and Dale Hogan. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10:15 am. Interment will follow the service in the family lot of Blackwood Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday evening during the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
