Peggy Sue Jones

Mrs. Peggy Sue "Susie" Burchett Jones, age 54 of Murray County, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her residence following several months of declining health.

Mrs. Jones was born on June 13, 1958, daughter of the late David Benny Burchett and Kathy Avon Smith Burchett of Murray County. She was a personal care assistant with Courageous Home Care.

Survivors include a daughter, Brieanna Jones; mother, Kathy Smith Burchett; two granddaughters, Zoe and Stormi Ingle; a brother, Douglas Smith; godparents, Bobby and Bessie Durham, all of Murray County; and a very special friend, Rick Dutton of Calhoun. Aunts, uncles and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. Peggy Sue "Susie" Jones will be held Friday, October 26th at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating.

The Jones family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until the service hour of 1:00pm.
