Peggy Taylor Goss

Peggy Taylor Goss, 64, of Calhoun died at Floyd Medical Center on Sunday, March 19, 2017, following several years of declining health. Peggy was born in Gordon County on September 1, 1952; she was the daughter of the late Tommie and Lois Archer Taylor. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Goss.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Russell Whitfield; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Stacy Lambert; her brothers, Stanley Taylor, Steve Walden, Robert Jenkins, Justin Edenfield, and Richard Edenfield; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Tim Popadics, Becky and Ed Eggertt, and Sybil and Dean Abernathy; her grandchildren, Austin Whitfield and Bailey Whitfield; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Garmon will officiate. To honor Peggys wishes, her body will be cremated following the funeral service. Honorary pallbearers are Everett Nix, Scott Nix, Greg Connell, Lonnie Teffeteler, Charles Teffeteler, and Darin Teffeteler.
The Goss family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The family suggests that instead of flowers, donations in Peggys memory be made the to the memorial fund for her expenses, C/O Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 1027, Calhoun, Georgia 30703.
