Infant Preston Nakota Cash Poole, age 4 months of Calhoun, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Gordon Hospital. He was born on May 1, 2014, son of Michael Preston Poole and Brittney Kala Ainsley Payne.

Preston was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Buren Gregory and Jack Payne; and grandfather, Max Poole.

Survivors include his parents, Mikey Poole and Kala Payne; a brother, Corbin Brown; a sister, Brookelyn Payne; grandparents, Wayne and Deann Priest, Kenneth and Amy McKenzie, and Dianne (Dikey) Poole; great-grandparents, Ann Payne, Earl and Faye Priest, and Martha Gregory; uncles, Dewey Poole, Nick Poole, Duston Priest, and Brandon McKenzie; aunts, Kaitlyn and Elizabeth McKenzie, Glenda Priest, Kristen Smith, and Haley Smith; cousins, Kaylie, Ricky and McKinley Ward, Garrett Poole, and Kayden Poole; great aunts and uncles, Virginia and Mike Yancy, Robbie and Joy Gregory, Donna and Rick Wilder, Jason and Christie Robinson, Billy and Sandra Gregory, Deb and Ken Brite, Dewayne Gregory, Elaine Gregory, and Margie Pike; Godfather, Wayne Pack; and God-mother, Angie Stanley. Other great-aunts and numerous cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Infant Preston Nakota Cash Poole will be held Saturday, September 6th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Corbin and Rev. Lamar Bearden officiating. Interment will follow in Bracketts Ridge Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Wayne Pack and Brandon McKenzie. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Shoemaker, Josh Hunter, Matt Ferguson, Jason Robinson, Jaxon Robinson, Hunter Rogers, Logan Rogers, Corbin Brown, Greg Thomas, Russell Defoor, Temple Brannon, Rodney Collins, Duston Priest, Matt Meadows, and Jamey Benson.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 2:00 PM.
