Mr. Randall Eugene Hunter, age 48, of Gordon County died Monday, October 13, 2014. He was born on January 29, 1966, son of the late Robert and Susie Sewell Hunter.
Prior to his illness, Randall enjoyed working as a mechanic at Parkway Tractor for 15 years. He enjoyed sleeping in the house and watching Channel 2 Action News. Otherwise, he was outside, enjoying camping, family gatherings, hunting and fishing, and riding dirt bikes with his grandson. He was a member of Mount Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Jean Patterson Hunter; a daughter, Tasha Hunter; two brothers, Robert Hunter and James Hunter and his wife Nan; two sisters, Linda Williams and her husband B.H., and Ann Cross and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Bryson Teasley and Brody Hightower; special friends, Ken Bradley and Charles Kent; and special nephews, Michael Cline and Matthew Patterson.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Randall Eugene Hunter will be held Friday, October 17th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Bradley and Rev. Jacky Culberson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Jody Buttrum, Justin DeLong, Tim Teasley, Ronald Patterson, Terry Buttrum, Austin Kelly, Charles Agen, and Scotty McDonald.
The Hunter family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday, October 15th and Thursday, October 16th after 1:00 PM.
