Randel Harris

Mr. Randel Harris, age 78 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Gordon Hospital.

He was born on June 3, 1932 in Gordon County, son of the late Henry and Eller Brown Harris. He served his country with the United States Navy, retiring after 30 years of service.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Evelyn Dempsey Harris; two stepdaughters, Pamela Friedoff and Carol Ann Knotek; and two stepsons, Walter David Robinson and Christopher Smith. A dear friend, Donnie Gaddison, along with a host of neighbors and friends also survive.

At Mr. Harris's request, his body was cremated and no memorial service will be held.
