Ray Junior Mains

Mr. Ray Junior Mains, age 85 of Adairsville, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Calhoun Health Care Center following a brief illness.

He was born on October 23, 1924 in Jackson, Michigan, son of the late Emory B. Mains and Hazel Breakley Mains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Cora Belle Devries Mains.

Mr. Mains is survived by two daughters, Jackie Atkinson of Durham, Connecticut, and Susie Smith of Springfield, Missouri; four sons, Clayborn Mains and Randy Mains, both of Adairsville, Larry Mains of Franklin, Tennessee, and Emory Mains of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Jean Harp of Orlando, Florida, and Thelma Smith of New Port Richie, Florida; a brother, Don Mains; and other relatives.
