Rebecca Ann Silvers

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Silvers, age 53 of Calhoun, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at her residence following several years of declining health. She was born in Fulton County, GA on September 26, 1960, daughter of the late Bernice Bunn Wallace and Norman Wallace.

Prior to becoming disabled, Rebecca was employed with Waffle House for 22 years. She was a member of East Calhoun Church.

She leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Bill Lamar Silvers of the residence; her father, Norman Wallace; four sons, Anthony Wood of Calhoun, Robert Wood and his wife Brandi of Denver, CO, Ricky Wood, and Jeromey Wood; two daughters, Tonya Kinsey and Anthony Brown, and Christy Meehan; a brother, Skeet Wallace of Stockbridge; and three sisters, Pollie Marlow and her husband Danny of Florida, Pam Wallace of Florida, and Jainey Wallace of Georgia. Grandchildren surviving are Holly Nicole Silvers, Anthony L. Wood III, Summer Elizabeth Wood, Isaiah Matthew Wood, Hayleigh Ann Wood, Christian Faith Wood, Ricky Wood Jr., and Alexis Wood. Other survivors are step-daughters, Pamela Clark, Penny Henson, Marsha Wood, and Melinda Pierce; and a step-son, Ryan Thomas.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rebecca Ann Silvers will be held Sunday, December 15th at 2:00 PM from East Calhoun Church, with Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Music will be arranged by Tim Reid.
