Rebecca Lynn Wilson

Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Whitfield Wilson, 63, of Calhoun, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 7, 2023.

She was born in Rome, Ga., on February 11, 1960, daughter of Alice Lee Ray and the late Ted Whitfield.

She was a 1978 graduate of Fairmount High School and was employed by Engineered Flooring in Calhoun.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy “Tim” Wilson to whom she was married for 45 years; son, Timothy “Little Tim” Wilson and his wife Sabrina of Calhoun; grandchildren, Brady Lane Wilson and his wife Kelsey of Calhoun, Hunter Lynn Barnette and her husband Tristan of Calhoun, Gregory Chase Starkey and Garrett Shane Starkey; great-grandchildren, Dani Maeve Barnette and Declan Connor Yarnell; sisters, Gloria (Mike) Thomas, Diane (Mike) Woodward; brothers, Ricky (Beverly) Whitfield of Adairsville, Randy (Karen) Whitfield of Dalton and Jeffery (Joanie) Whitfield of Calhoun; sister-in-laws, Linda (Mitchell) Pasley of Biloxi, MS, Janie (Joe) Wheeler, the late Sylvia (Ken) Davenport; brother-in-law, the late Wesley (Jan) Wilson; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Rebecca Lynn Wilson will be held on Tuesday, April 11th at 11:00 AM from Boone Ford Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Quarles and Rev. A.J. Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Sonoraville Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving includes, Chad Bell, Jacob Buttrum, Joey Strickland, Lane Strickland, Chase Starkey, and Garrett Starkey; honorary pallbearers will include fellow employees of Engineered Flooring, Calhoun division.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 10th at Boone Ford Baptist Church from 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. And on Tuesday April 11th, from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour of 11:00 AM.
