Rex Gordon Young

Mr. Rex Gordon Young, 60 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Pickens County on November 7, 1955, son of the late Eugene and Dorothy Rogers Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Sue Harolson.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patricia Ann Morris Young; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathon and Audra Falconer of Adairsville, and Rex A. and Carol Young of Calhoun; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Cory Wells of Calhoun; a brother, Ronnie Young of Calhoun; sisters, Denise West of Calhoun, and Pat Belle; and grandchildren, Ryan Falconer, Brandon Falconer, Corbin Falconer, Brindley Falconer, Timothy Young, Andrew Young, and Elizabeth Harolson.

Services to honor the life of Mr. Rex Gordon Young will be held Friday, July 1st at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. With Rev. Daniel Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Brandon Falconer, Ryan Falconer, Andrew Young, Timmy Young, Jonathon Stone, and Justin Stone.

The Young family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 30th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
