Richard Fuller

Mr. Richard Leonard Fuller, age 70 of Armuchee, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Fuller was born on January 29, 1939 in Gordon County, son of the late Lawrence Fuller and Ollie Jean Silvers Fuller. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Sue Fuller. Mr. Fuller was a retired employee of the Gordon County Road Department, and was a member of Evangelistic Outreach Ministries.

Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife, Diane Sexton Fuller; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Tammy Fuller of Ranger, Ricky and Norma Fuller of Rome, Larry and Cassie Fuller of Calhoun, David and Patty Fuller of Dalton, Billy and Pam Fuller, and Johnny and Brenda Fuller, both of Resaca; stepmother, Dorothy Jane Fuller of Calhoun; three sisters and their husbands, Evelyn and Grady Timms, Brenda and Randy Peirce, both of Calhoun, and Barbara and Chubby White of Rome. One brother and his wife, Tommy and Keisha Fuller of Rome; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Leonard Fuller will be conducted Monday at 2:00pm from the East Calhoun Church of God, with Pastor Keith Reid, Rev. Delmar Ledford and Rev. Donald Elders officiating. Pallbearers serving will include David Fuller, Derrick Fuller, Joey Quarles, "Little" Joe Quarles, Steve Silvers, Tommy Silvers and Joe Silvers. Interment will follow the service at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Sunday after 4:00 pm.
