Richard Gene Nix

Richard Gene Nix, 49, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023.  He was born in Rome, Georgia on January 5, 1974, to Ann Jackson Nix and the late John Nix.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Nix.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Nix; fiancé, Kimberly Jean Vicente; daughter, Tiny Nix; stepdaughter, Rosie Marie Vicente; brothers, Danny Nix, Melvin (Chris) Nix; sister, Carol (Mark) Rogers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 17, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Melvin Nix and Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
