Richard Wayne Davis

Mr. Richard Wayne Davis, age 53 of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday morning, April 19, 2007 at the Wild Wood Nursing Home.

Mr. Davis was born on September 16, 1953 at Fort Mommouth, New Jersey, son of Margie Dupree Davis and the late George R. Davis. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Davis and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Davis is survived by one daughter, Victoria Jordan of Orange County, Florida; one son; Michael Davis of Dalton, mother; Margie Davis Hughes of Calhoun; one sister, Genie Nix and her husband Juan of Adairsville; three brothers; Dennis Davis and his wife, Cindi of Cheyenne, WY.; and Steven Davis and Terry Davis both of Calhoun. One grandchild; Gracie Nicole Davis, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Richard Wayne Davis will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Harold Blackstock officiating. Pallbearers serving will include; Matthew Nix, Chris Johnson, Jerry Helms, Paul Smith, Gene Smith and Michael Davis. Burial will follow the service in Chandler Cemetery.
