Rick Butler

Mr. Rick Lamar Butler, age 55 of Dalton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was born on February 15, 1954 in Floyd County, son of Kathryn Lindsey Butler and the late Fred Lee Butler. He was a member of Coosawattee Lodge # 306 F & AM. Mr. Butler is survived by a daughter, Samantha Butler Baldridge and her husband Ricky of Plainville; his mother, Kathryn Butler of Calhoun; two sisters, Cathy Banks and Tammy Greeson, both of Calhoun; four brothers, Dale Butler, Eddie Butler, and Timmy Butler, all of Calhoun, and Gary Butler of Chattanooga. Three grandchildren, Sherry Butler, Jonathan Butler and Cordelia Baldridge, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Rick Lamar Butler will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday during the hours of 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
