Rickey William Broome

Rickey William Broome, 66, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in McMinn County, Tennessee, on February 27, 1958. To the late Walter Charles and Myrtle Ozella Broome. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth William Broome; brothers, Walter Junior Broome, Jerry Charles Broome, Donnie Ray Broome; sisters, Shirley Faye Broome, Norma Jean Brookshire, Myrtle Ellen Broome, Janie Lee Broome, and Judy Rogers-Glass.

He is survived by his wife Linda Broome; sons, Rickey Charles (Amy) Broome, Jamie (Jessica) Maddox; sister, Jeanette (Rodney) Kelley; brother-in-law, Steve Jackson; grandchildren, Kaylan Broome, Abigail Broome, Gavin Hall, Blake Broome, Ethan Hall, Ashton Broome, Aiden Charles, Jaxon Broome; great-grandchildren, Laiklynn Broome, and Ansleigh Broome.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Eddie Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Kaylan Broome, Gavin Hall, Ethan Hall, Ashton Broome, and Aiden Charles.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to assist with funeral expenses.
