Obituary

Rickey Lynn Dockrey, 62, of Calhoun, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home following several years of declining health. He was born in Atlanta, GA on July 17, 1956, son of the late Charlie and Sarah Dee Dockrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Bailey Dockrey; and a sister, Tracy Dockrey.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Rodna Herod Dockrey; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Jennifer England, and Ritchie and Kate Dockrey and their two daughters; his sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Donnie Green; grandchildren, Kannon England, Payton England, and Mason Dockrey; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
A Memorial Service to honor the life of Rickey Lynn Dockrey will be held Thursday, September 27th at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Locke, Donnie Green, and Rod Herod.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00 PM until the service hour of 7:00 PM.
