Ricky Curtis Dean Sr

Mr. Ricky Curtis Dean, Sr., age 65 of Honea Path, SC died suddenly on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Pickens County, GA on December 1, 1947, son of the late Fred and Daisy Stanfield Dean.

Mr. Dean was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army. He was employed as an Electronics Engineer during his lifetime.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Connie Dean, Jr. of Oak Ridge, TN, and Rodney and Tess Dean of Oak Ridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Mark Gungor of Canada; a brother, Eddie Dean of Anderson, SC; and three sisters, Jean Harrington and her husband Jay of Milledgeville, GA, Charlene Tillery and her husband Ronnie of Somerset, KY, and Fredia Kirby of Calhoun, GA. Eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Curtis Dean, Sr. will be held Thursday, January 24th at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Max "Bud" Fuller officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

The Dean family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 1:00pm.
