Ricky Dale Leonard

Mr. Ricky Dale Leonard, age 51 of Calhoun, died Monday, January 26, 2015 following several month of declining health. He was born in Gordon County on April 20, 1963, son of Ellen Leonard and the late Norman Leonard. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristie Leonard.

Ricky was a concrete mason, and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Debra Ann Smith Leonard; a son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Nicole Leonard of Calhoun; a daughter and son-in-law, Kira and Marc Clerc of Adairsville; his mother, Ellen Leonard of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Grizzle of Calhoun; a grandchild, Amelia Clerc; and nephews, Blake Grizzle and Zack Grizzle.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Dale Leonard will be held Thursday, January 29th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Donnie Summey and Randy Fouts officiating. Cremation will follow the service, and interment will be in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers serving include Jeff Poe, Sherman Hall, Ronnie Holbrook, Wiley Leonard, Wayne Leonard, and Jamie Roberson.

The Leonard family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 28th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
