Robbie Lee Defoor

Mrs. Robbie Lee Defoor, age 87 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Gordon Hospital. She was born in Whitfield County on November 9, 1924, daughter of the late Berry and Jennie Sailors Wheat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Defoor, Sr., and a son, David Defoor.

Survivors include six sons, Robert Paul Defoor, Jr. and his wife Connie of Dalton, Larry Defoor and his wife Debra of Shannon, Thomas Defoor and his wife Ellie of Calhoun, Jimmy Defoor and his wife Debbie of Cartersville, and Jerry Defoor and Danny Defoor, both of Calhoun; a daughter, Penny Headrick of Dalton; and a sister, Geneva Fisher of Dalton. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Lee Defoor will be held Friday, October 26th at 2:00pm from the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitfield County, with Rev. A.J. Waters and Brother Lamar Hand officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

There will be no formal visitation prior to the graveside service. Family and friends will gather at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00pm.
