Robert Bennett

Mr. Robert Bennett, age 81 of Calhoun, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Gordon Hospital. He was born on October 30, 1926, son of the late Monroe and Tennie Kissingburg Bennett. During his lifetime, Mr. Bennett was a truck driver with Coronet Carpets. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church for over 40 years. He loved the Lord, his family, his life, and was a great witness.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 46 years, Genlee Walraven Bennett; brothers, Floyd and Howard Bennett; and sisters, Rita Locke, Lee Young, and Jean McCallie.
