Robert Joe Silvers

Mr. Robert Joe Silvers, 46 of Ranger, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his home. He was born in Gordon County on November 3, 1968, son of the late William Gordon and Georgia Lee Mullinax Silvers.

Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Silvers was a Diesel Mechanic.

He leaves behind his wife, Tina Stone Silvers; a son, Joseph "Jo Jo" Silvers of Ranger; daughters, Lakeisha LeAnne Silvers of Calhoun, and Jessie Marie Silvers of Fairmount; a brother, William Silvers, Jr. of Ranger; sisters, Carolyn Dobson, Melinda Silvers, and Brenda Patterson, all of Ranger; and grandchildren, Jerry Robert Luther Silvers, and Harmonee LeAnne Silvers. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Joe Silvers will be held Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Adrian Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ranger. Pallbearers serving will include Richard Holden, Joshua Clay, Joshua Broome, Dakota Silvers, David Stone, and Chip Nix.

The Silvers family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday at 5:00 PM.
